Hey folks, I live in NW Iowa and drive a '67 Coronet 440. it's got a small block 273 with and auto trans, I think the 904. Want to replace or build the existing engine to give her some pep in her step. I'll probably have a bunch or questions, so please be patient. LOL mopar4507

Welcome from Nebraska. Just moved my younger brother from NW Iowa.

Nothing wrong with a 273 but they do have their limits. A 4 barrel, intake, distributor recurve, and some nice dual exhaust will make quite a difference. Anything more than that and you might as well put in a 318 or 360 or if you are serious, a stroker. All if you want to stay with a small block.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario from another '67 Coronet guy. Mine is an R/T with 440, automatic. There is a lot a knowledge and people willing to help on this forum. A 360 with a few 340 parts sprinkled on it (cam, exhaust manifolds, intake and carb) will fit real nice. A lot torquier motor compared to your existing 273.

Welcome from Waterloo.

My ‘68 Plymouth Wagon has a 273 in it. That thing winds up like no other small block I’ve ever been in. Kinda like a 283 or 301 Chevy!
