I need to change my tires on my 67 coronet 500 with a 440 and a 4 speed.
It currently has 14x7 front cragers and 14x8 rears.
I'm thinking I'd like to go with a narrow 14" front tire, like a 195 but stick with my 235s on the rears
Any comments?

No. Not even sure you could get a 195 to bead up to a 7" rim. But it would be small. And look bad.

How do you drive this car? Do you know how much it weighs?

Is staying with those rims a line in the sand?

265x14s have to be rare.... and old.
The 64 8 3/4 is wider than any other b-body 8 3/4. Deep dish Cragars will be real hard to get wide tires to clear in the back. Probably why youre stuck with 235s. 275s will fit, but ONLY on a rim with the right backspace. (which wont be 14" cragars), and they are only available in 15"
As far as i know, 245/60x14 is the largest available 14" tire, anywhere!

Good to know. Thanx

I like our 215x70x15 x7 on the front and 275x60x15x8 on the rear. Fairly certain the rears would be to wide for Coronets and Satellites.
Not true, I have 275/60/15 drag radials on a 8 inch wheel with 5 inch backspacing. Stock leaf spring location. All i had to do was roll the inside lip.
