Does anyone have anything to help put scoop in correct location.

Did you post this in the 66 to 70 section as they should be able to help you ? Ron

If no one chimes in soon, I'll take mine down from the lift and get you the measurement.

If you are using the RO/WO23 scoop, position it all the way to back edge of the hood.

no, its the little small scoop from the factory.

Sorry, I don't mean to tease you, but my RT is on a lift with a belvedere wagon under it and a big truck in front of the both.

Tomorrow I'll pull them all out and measure it.

OK, here goes. I used a tape measure, so things are most likely +/- 1/16" or so.

Hood scoop back edge to back of hood is 3 1/8". Of course centered left to right. Cut out a cardboard template exactly the shape of the scoop, press the scoop down on the cardboard to locate the mounting bosses then make the holes in the template.

Now you have a perfect template to locate the holes on the hood.

RT side emblem, drivers side: Foward hole is upper, left and 21 9/16" from door jamb (hooking tape measure on jamb) and 15/16" above ridge line.

Rear hole is lower, right 24 5/16" from door jamb and 5/16" down from ridge line.

RT side emblem, pass side: Foward hole is lower right 21 5/16" from door jamb and 7/16" down from ridge line

Rear hole is upper left 24 1/8" from door jamb and 7/8" up from ridge line.

These dimensions are to the center of the hole too.

Make sure you double check everything before you drill especially the RT emblems. The scoop needs to be sealed to prevent rain from leaking through. And minor adjustments can be made by making the holes slightly bigger. A little slop won't hurt unless it's a lot of slop.

Take your time.

Hope this helps, my Rt happens to be sitting in paint only for the past 5 or so years.

I also can get you other measurements since there is nothing on it yet.

Good luck
