Need a power steering pump and high pressure hose. Not easy to find. I found a local firm that will refit the hose endings to a new hose and give me a one day turnaround. Problem solved. The only PS available to send to me immediately I can find is a TRW at Rock Auto (without sending the old one off for a rebuild on a 6-8 day turnaround). Mine is a Federal. The TRW is not available with the reservior. My question is this. Will the Federal reservoir fit on the TRW? It looks like the rebuilt PS pump comes with the reservoir gasket and I would sure like to have the replacement on hand before pulling the old one off. I would have thought the PS pump and hose would be easier to find than this.

Thanks!

Don

TRW, small sized can, is correct for your 67. Federal is more a 68 69 deal. You can use the can off a small block pump if you can get the BB pump with pulley, in a rebuilt fashion as you said. 67's use the small return hose and flat twist cap, just to cover that base. Brackets are repop'd and on ebay.

Rock Auto called me today and said despite their website saying they had three rebuilt PS pumps for a 67 GTS, they have none. It looks like sending off for a rebuild is going to be my only option. I guess I don't have to worry about the reservoir fitting the pump if I send in my old one and get it back rebuilt. I am hoping I can send it reservoir, pulley and all and get it back the same way.

I have pumps here but they should be rebuilt also PM me if you need a core
