Hi everyone I have to replace my heater core in my 67 gtx I see that they make aluminum ones or do you go with original style materials I actually have another one that is original do I send that one out to get cleaned and checked scares me to use an old one thanks

If you an original type make sure the tubes that go through firewall are same length as old one. Bought one locally and had to have them use tubes off my old one.

i haven't seen the aluminum ones
the repops i have seen are cheaply made knockoffs
so bad, I'm not using the new one i got for my car.
I'm going to take my old one off to a radiator shop first.
after I saw the repop my fear of using the old one disappeared..

Reuse the old one.
As above stated. Take it to a good radiator shoo. The will clean it pressure test it and repair it if necessary. The original are much more robust. & guaranteed to fit.
If you have two get them both cleaned and have a spare or sell the spare here. I'm sure you'd get a nice price for it.
