Based on the fact that it needs a complete restoration which will cost at least 50 grand (not counting labor of course) and the value of a non-number's matching R/T is in the low 50's, will you take $1,500.00?

I was going to ask for more evidence this is a real R/T. Certainly 68-70 Chargers are popular beyond enthusiast level, but any informed investor will want that documentation to provide a basis for value assessment/heritage. Interesting colors on this car, but what documentation and previous history do you have? - you have pic of dash VIN ? Do you have a buildsheet ?

That fender tag, is that a repop ? I once saw a very pretty AA1 68 R/T with red stripe and interior close to being fully restored from around Syracuse NY that had a - seller admitted - repop fendertag and the seller did not have buildsheet or he couldn't somehow send me that picture, but a supposed matching numbers block at previous owners house only the previous owner was in the middle of a divorce and so that couldn't be located "at the moment" .... stories kept being told, you know the end of that one: I bailed out.

With the price you are demanding plus the additional cost outlined by Richard, it would be easier and cheaper to find an unhacked car fully documented and numbers matching to boot and fully restored and just pay up full price

On the plus side, I still wish you good luck, and perhaps you'll provide more information for us ? Drivetrain condition and what it actually needs to get completed ?

This car still has a 727 in it from when it was raced I just put a auto console over the floor tunel it has the 4 spd hump, I can take a pic of dash vin tomorrow, as for a build sheet this car had plastic racing buckets and no rear seats when I got it in 2000, there was no sign of a build sheet. Make a respectable offer, Iv herd the oil companies in Norway compensate the public well
