Anybody running a carter m4845 on a stock 383hp? Looking for a good mech fuel pump for my going to be street driven 383hp with most likely an Edelbrock 650. Is the 8psi it puts out to much?
Edelbrock carbs like 4-6 max psi. I run at 4.5 psi with a regulator. It may handle the 8 PSI. Maybe some one else is running that pump and will chime in.
I’m also considering running a filter with a vapor separator which I’ve read a few post that say that can lower the pressure some. So I was thinking 8psi May balance out with the separator but idk.
