On a 68 dodge what is the difference between the GG-1 racing green & the 66-1 dark green ? Any pictures ?

I don't see a listing for 66-1 on a 68 Dodge.
In 67 GG-1 was Dark Green Poly and 66-1 was Mauve Poly.

yes you are right 68 dodge GG-1 is racing green & Plymouth its forest green. I looked it up in a paint chip book. It shows a 66-1 in dodge as dark green No 66-1 in plymouth

I may be a little late to the party, but I have an original triple green '68 with 66-1 Dark Green Poly paint. My understanding is that it was a late production year color add. I have a PPG sheet that shows GG-1 as Racing Green Poly and 66-1 as Dark Green Poly. They are very similar, the GG-1 perhaps a bit darker.

Don’t know about 66, but we had the 67 GG1 and 68 GG1 sample done on a piece of metal. The 68 is definitely darker. This was done using the factory PPG formula. 67 paint seems to change colour in different light. I stayed with the factory 67 colour.
