68/69 fenders

I have a 69 Bee.the passenger side fender got hit a few weeks ago and I’m having trouble finding a replacement. I have seen some posts here about the difference between the 68/69.I am still confused.other than the side reflector can a 68 be made to work?thank you

The other difference is the mounting to the upper radiator crossbar. The 1969 fender has a bracket welded to the fender which bolts to the crossbar. In 1968, the bracket is part of the upper crossbar.
