'68-'70 Rallye Dash Wiring Harness

For B-Body. '68 - '69, if '70 is different? Did some searches but couldn't find out exactly. Want to install a '70 Rallye (round guages) dash into a '69 car with standard (rectangle speedo) dash/harness. TIA.

I would guess it's a little different being '68 and '69 had the ignition switch in the dash, '70 in the column. I'm sure you could make it work. Would just take some time of studying the schematics and a little wiring.

I've gotten two different answers on whether a Rallye Dash will fit into a non-Rallye-dashed car. One guy said you have to modify the dash, the other said it it's a direct replacement.

Who is correct? The car is a '69 Coronet with standard rectangular sweeping speedo.

Both dash frames (rallye & standard) will bolt directly into a 69 B Body. The area of the dash frame for the instrument cluster is different between the rallye cluster and the standard cluster. It is not a direct swap - the metal area housing the standard instrument cluster would have to be modified to accept a rallye instrument cluster.

Cool, thx. Until I talk to someone who's done it or knows how to modify the frame, I'm just shelving the Rallye dash idea. In the meantime I was able to procure a MINT condition standard dash guage cluster, for only $150! So I'm gonna swap that in. I hate sweeping speedo's almost as much as I hate vinyl roofs, lol. But it'll do for now. I'll calibrate it using the Ulysse GPS speedo on my Galaxy phone, them mark off the major speeds on my big tach.
