Hey guys, I'm gathering all of the materials to freshen up the interior pieces for my Charger with dark green interior. I'm trying to get the paints figured out. I already have the suede paint for the dash and column from instrument specialties. I'm looking for the paint to do the bottoms of the doors and the headliner side retainers along the roof rail. I've been researching the paint codes that were originally used by PPG. Here's what I've learned so far:
Catawba green 43695 (gloss)
Catawba green 43721 (suede)
Velvet green 43137 (low gloss)
My question is the gloss level pertaining to the door bottoms and the roof rail trim. My doors were repainted all body color at one time so I don't know what the gloss level was originally for the bottoms and my roof rail trim looks pretty low sheen. I'm assuming that they were painted velvet green. Would the door bottoms be 43695 gloss or 43137 low gloss? Did any pieces actually get painted 43695 gloss? Seems like all of the interior painted pieces were suede or low gloss to keep down on glare
