68 Coronet tail panel

I can't find a good tail pane for my 68 coronet so this is my plan< I have a good upper half of the panel but it's rusty where it meets the trunk panel at the bottom. My only choise I think would be to buy a new repop 69 tail panel for $400.00 and use the bottom section to repair 68 panel?! I hate to hack up a good panel for parts! Any ideas?

I would hold off on the new piece and keep looking. Post a wanted add in all the mopar sites you know. A piece that you need usually pops out of the blue.
