For Sale...pretty decent Deck Lid.. 68 Coronet / Super Bee, 500, R/T
been sitting on it for a while...... this one has a perfect lock hole. The only rust is in the seam at the bottom rear. The bottom rear corners need patched, but is mostly there; the inner lip is pretty much all there. I media blasted the seam all the way around for a good look.
The top side has a few minor dents. I buzzed a sander over it to expose any surprises, there weren't any. I marked all the spots that would need attention. see pics.
I would do the repair, but prefer to have it mocked up on a car. Anyone with a little skill, could knock this out in a day or 2 and have a perfect deck lid.
Looking to get 800, will crate it for an additional 100...... buyer pays shipping, but I will cooperate.
Located near Atco NJ.

minor dent, minor high spot, dent moderate, high spot where someone was careless with hinge, small dents, tiny dent, minor pitting

there's a smashed one on ebay for 1500, I must be an idiot......I will repair this and raise the price, time permitting

1500 for a smashed one is crazy. 1500 for a decent one needing minimal work is realistic. You could get yours to nice condition and earn a little for your time if you choose.

it's only listed here, and I know a lot of guys prefer to do their own work.....I'm even a little weird about asking 8 bills for it; but they are very hard to come by, and I will in turn spend the money on some overpriced part for my own car...... I know if I needed a 68 lid, I'd scoop it up.

I think you are right on the money. If i needed it i would buy it for that price. Mine is usable tho.
Agree on the prices..they are what they are and seem crazy. In the future it may be better or worse...no one knows...
