68 roadrunner trunk floor question

I was wondering, does a full amd trunk floor fit into the trunk opening? Or do u have to remove the taillight panels? Thanks in advance.

I did a 68 fastback cuda a while back and had to remove the rear valance to get it in.

It won't go in whole unless you remove another piece first.

I guess the tailpanel would be the easiest. How much other metal are you replacing? Is the whole pan bad, or just between the frame rails? I replaced just the center section on a couple of Road Runners, but everything was ok on those except for pin holes in the center section.

The whole trunkpan is bad and both drop downs are bad. The tail light panel is bad as well.

Well that settles that. Support the frame rails well and blow it apart.
