Time to make space in my storage. I am selling a 69 440 HP and the 727 that came out of a New Yorker. Bought this from a guy who claimed to have pulled it out of his fathers rusted out New Yorker and then stored it in his shop for many years. I started to dismantle it to have it rebuilt but then found another engine. I pulled the intake, front accessories, timing cover, driver's side valve cover, rocker assembly and exhaust manifold. Never took the heads off. The engine does not come with the front brackets, or pulleys,
or accessories. It comes with what is shown in the pictures. The E440 stamping is very faint if that matters to you.
The transmission number is 2892093 it was built July 8, 1968. I was told the transmission had no problems, but I can't verify that. The converter that was in it when I took it off the engine comes with it.
I am asking $1,000 for the engine, transmission, and the parts shown on the pallet. I also have the AC compressor and possibly some other small parts.
Pich up in Napa, California. Not willing to ship this.
I don't want to sell the engine and transmission separately, but if I do the price for each is going to be a lot more than half of what I am asking for the combination.
Thanks to Joey for the ad.
