Hi guys, got some map light wiring stuff.
My issues (well, car-related issues):
My '69 came with the map light option, but the wiring to mine was butchered up pretty bad. I have found a diagram for a '68 I believe but it differs from some of the pics I have seen of original map light harnesses on eBay. I would like to know where all the wires plug in and approximate lengths so I can try to rewire mine the correct way. Also, can I bypass it entirely for a while til I figure it out, and still have my door switches and interior lights and dome work? I have a brand new dash harness in and I DO NOT want to splice it anywhere, pretty sure there would be no need to anyway. Does anyone know what style door switches should be on a '69? Mine has some with two plugs coming off of each, but my buddy's unmolested Charger has a one plug style and and his car has factory map light delete. I've got some pics attached too. Any pics you guys have would be greatly appreciated!
