I'm looking to build a stock looking 440 with a stroker kit and roller cam. I want to use the stock heads ( '69 "K" long block), ported. What recommendations can be made for an intake and carb combo (needs to fit under bulge hood with unsilenced cleaner, and I will be running headers. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to get 500 horses out of this engine.

Good thing you are loking for a modest 500 HP. Unless your cylinder head porter really knows what he is doing, with 500ci you will run out of cylinder head around 4400 rpm. So if you can make 600 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm you'll have your 500 HP.

Edelbrock Performer. 850 Demon. Drop base air cleaner. Hood closes w/power bulge hood.
415 RWHP before tuning and upgrades. TTI's.
