69 GTX added a six pack what hood do i need?

1969 GTX, non airgrabber car, has 68 hood and hacked to fit airgrabber under it. have the oval base and chrome air cleaner lid. has never fit and the fiberglass on air grabber keeps cracking. can i keep air cleaner base and lid and get a fiberglass hood that will fit?? and also have side vents???

Thanks for the reply, I was told since 69 did not come with six pack that it will be too tall for the set up

thinking maybe keep 68 hood, scrap the fiberglass airgrabber element and just cut out for a scoop to be bonded on????

I believe the height of the air cleaner for the six barrel and 4 barrel setups, relative to the hood, is the same. The height differences are compensated for in the air cleaner bases.

Thanks for the reply, I called a fiberglass fab shop to fix the airgrabber....found a 69 hood, so if I put those two together I should be okay then

69 air grabber hood with '70 6-pak air cleaner should be a perfect fit.
