This is an automatic transmission, not a 4 speed swap. Sorry, I assumed switching from a column shift would be enough to say this an automatic. We're there 4 speed column shifters in a GTX?Besides the hole in the floor, you'll need the hump that fits over the hole,

the shifter to bolt onto the console, shifter linkage, floor shift style torque shaft, and if you want to get rid of the steering column shift collar you can get a floor shift version.

The console itself will require additional brackets welded to the tunnel.

And you think I can just change the collar on the steering column to get rid of the shift indicator and lever?Sorry, don't know why I included that four speed hump. You'll still need the rest.

Tony's Parts came out with that collar a while back to make that possible. My former Hemi GTX was a column to floor conversion car. The previous owner who did the work changed out the entire steering column to get rid of the shift indicator and lever. Note that he used a console from 1969. Probably got a good deal on it, and he wasn't worried about originality. And you think I can just change the collar on the steering column to get rid of the shift indicator and lever?
If you're doing it for cosmetic reasons don't!!! Keep it original, by the way what size Engine are you running ?I'm thinking about changing my column shift to a floor shift with a console. Besides opening a hole in the floor, what will I need for a factory swap?
