This is a REAL "RM" code Road Runner (not a Satellite clone)

A restoration was done about 6 years ago and she's still in excellent condition both inside and out


Body is laser straight and drenched in Sublime Green paint


Looks right at home at any car show, but she's definitely NOT a trailer queen

This last Summer in FL was absolutely miserable, so we definitely need something with A/C.

And although I love the manual valve body, I would prefer a 4-speed.

The strip light is mounted behind the dash lip, so it's completely invisible :icon_winkle:

The plan is to ditch the honky lookin monster glow tach and replace it with an OEM tach :headbang:

Lost a little bottom end, but seems to open up in the midrange and higher rpms.

I'm thinking about replacing the 40 series Flowmasters with Flowtech Warlock mufflers and bolting on a pair of electric cutouts :3gears:

I have yet to put her on a chassis dyno, so I can't say for sure what she makes at the wheels, but I may do a pull soon since I'm sizing her up for a high stall converter.

You probably already know this but if you find you've lost bottom end with open headers, try bolting on a pair of 8", 10" or 12" collectors and give them a whirl. You may be surprised.

I actually plan on ditching the stockish converter for a high stall pretty soon

Should take care of the bottom end and keep the revs from dropping so much between shifts :glasses2:

She'll sell when she sells, but in the meantime, I'll continue to have fun with her :icon_winkle:

After the first burnout, the camera picked up a fuel leak right above the diff

It doesn't drip when parked and only appeared to leak when I slammed on the brakes, so if it wasn't for the camera, I never would've known :sad6:

Turns out the 3 inch rubber hose from the vent line had a hole in it (easy fix)

As for the tires, I put the G70-15 Redlines back on and I'm debating between 28 and 30 inch Drag Radials to replace the Sportsman Pros.

1) The old 29x12.5x15 Mickey Thompsons Sportsman Pros have been replaced with new 295/65/15 (30x12.5x15) ET Street Radials

2) The old 10x8 transmission cooler has been replaced with a HUGE 45,000 BTU trans cooler

3) And the old deep sump tranny pan from 440 Source was replaced by an even deeper sump tube style cooling pan from Derale
