I have a 69 roadrunner 383 auto Im restoring. Going for a rust free driver, want it nice but not show. Have one of those already, want something I can jump in and drive not worry about how clean I am when I get in it. It has a very good condition vinyl top still on it, not rusted underneath, should I leave it on ? It is orange now, would that satin black paint Ive seen at shows look good with a black vinyl top or should I stay orange? No front seat yet, should I go bench or bucket? Also what product would match up with the factory undercoating that is on all of the undersides of the car, not kidding this stuff is tuff and in some spots more than a eighth inch thick, just want the same look, thought about rock guard which looks about the same and wont be in the sun so should hold up its black color ok.

I think only you can answer a lot of your questions. If it's a keeper fix the car up in the way that it appeals to you, however if you're building it to sell then you might consider a popular color, or better yet, the correct color. Good luck with the mission.

I actually liked bench seats, remember when I was young my dad's #r matching orange 383 HP car bench seats, hemi orange all the way-
