69 RR Primary Hood Latch

I seem to have a lot of slop in the Primary hood latch when closing the hood on my 69 RR? Have any of you rebuilt the latch or know where you can buy a repop? I am currently adjusting all body lines and gaps before paint and hood latch doesn't seem to keep hood down tight enough when in the location that it needs to be. Any suggestions?

What about the adjustable hood bumpers on the front corners? Need those in place to adjust the front of the hood and the latch.

Have both installed and adjusted just seems like more than normal slop when hood is closed. Like would bounce up slightly when you drive?
