Ive searched around and found numerous emblem location for everything but nothing for a regular "Satellite" fender emblem location. The old fenders for the car are different on each side. 5" 7/8 from the back of fender and 6" 3/4 down from the body line in the fender for one side. The other side down is same but the forward placement is 5" 3/8. Anyone know which may be right or if they are both wrong and the guy drilling holes was drunk on the assembly line. Thanks

Edit: just to clarify the measurement is to the first hole.

I'm not sure but maybe you should attach the emblems and then measure from the edge of the fender to the edge of the emblem. If the emblems have the same stud placement on both sides, the holes would be spaced differently from side to side. I think.

You could try Rick. He has many original pictures of emblem placement from factory literature. I think a lot of these may be in the body manuals, but I’ve never checked.

I didnt even think about the stud position, being reversed offset. That could account for extra lenght for the DS. Ill dig out an emblem tommorrow and see how the edge measures up. Thanks.

the guy drilling holes was drunk on the assembly line.

Probably more true than anything. I could write a book on $hit I've seen over the years on our old Mopars.
Hand built cars. No robots. Got to love them.

Yep turns out the offset studs for driver side 5" 7/8 and the passenger is 5" 3/8 brings the Satellite emblem at 4" 1/4 from edge on both sides. Thanks for the help, cant believe that didnt even cross my mind.
