69 steering box on a 72

Will a 69 B body power steering box fit on our 72 Carger? There was one here at Carlisle and the guy said it would fit, but I was not sure. That was this morning. Dont know if he has itstill, but I am going back tomorrow.

Just looked on rockauto.com and the power steering gearbox for 69 and 72 charger have the same part number.

In 1990 I used a steering box from a 89 M body cop car in a 70 Challenger, just gotta use the later pitman arm...

3. I went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought it for $75 this morning.
