My carb cable does not align correctly.
I was told this was the correct carb cable bracket
But the misalignment makes me suspect.
Does anyone have a photo of the correct big block
Throttle cable bracket?
Thanks

That is a 440 throttle cable bracket a 69 383HP 4bbl throttle cable bracket is different

Yeah,
That does not look correct.
You cable should be uh...26"
I may be wrong but it is either 26" or 23".
Call Mancinni Racing...they have a good tech line.
Heck, I may even have a "NEW" in the box for you...
PM me...

Here is my bracket. This is for a 1970 Road Runner with an original 383 and Holley carb. I had painted the throttle cable black (incorrectly), but I am relatively sure it is original. The return spring bracket, on the other hand, is not correct (but not part of your question either).

Not sure if this helps or not. Hope it does...

^%$#! uploads keep switching around the orientation of the pictures!!! :angryfire:

UPDATE UPDATE - So the 383/440 bracket which I have purchased and installed in the first post is for a Big Block two barrel and is aftermarket. I have found someone who has the OEM correct original bracket for a 4 speed. $75 shipped..... I feel like a hostage but need/want it.

And the $75 bracket fits worse then the other one I had.... SMFH....
I might take my original and just bend it a little to align... At what point do
you say "uncle"?

I bent the old one some... Everything lines up and fits right.. Now to get my $70 back. I'm sure he will keep the shipping.

Yeah, start messing with non-stock carbs and the linkage can get all messed up. My FAST fuel injection system had the throttle linkage mid way up the unit, so although it has similar linkage to a Holley, the throttle cable did not line up at all.

I took a 440 (I think) throttle linkage bracket and modified it so it would fit. This way, I had a more stock appearing bracket that worked for my application. Modifying the Mopar bracket might be something to consider...

If you want, you can check my thread where I did that. See post 229.

It looks like your carb needs the mopar bracket also, the return spring attaches to the rod that the throttle cable attaches to.thats the way mine is ,maybe 4 speed is different.

I have had it 3 years, bought it that way, driver quality paint and mostly original,I re placed all the wireing harnesses, rebuilt the front suspension still working on it,have new brake lines to go on soon.Looks like you are getting close, maybe see you some time.
