7 or 10 Degree Retainers and Locks

I have a set of retainers and locks and I'm having trouble identifying whether I have a 7 or 10 degree products. Is there a way to measure without expensive machinist tools?

10 degree is noticeably larger. if you have a stock retainer to compare with it will be easy to notice 10 degree.

I have nothing to compare to so I will have to visit an auto machine shop I suppose.

Got an angle finder? You might be able to use one.....
