70 383 dip stick lenght ??

How long is your dip stick on a stock 383? It is suppose to be original but I don't know. It would help me if some one could measure one from where it sits on the tube to the end. Thanks

The best way to do this would be to put the proper amount of oil in the pan with the tube installed, install stick measure the level and cut the tube to the right length. Just remember if you have a stock 5 quart system only put 4 quarts in the pan.
