Hi guys,
I'm a new mopar owner of a 70 super bee that is in great shape, but I'm looking to find body parts for when a do a full resto and there dosn't seem to be alot for the 70. I can't find fenders or full rear quarters for this car anywhere. Even stuff like taillights, front directionals ,grills and a rear tail light panel. Why is the 70 so rare or I'm I just not looking hard enough.

Just got off the phone with Auto Metal Direct and they told me they have no plans on making panels for the 70 coronet/BEE because there is not enough and tooling would cost to much. I can under stand that from a business point of view, but as a owner of a 70 WTF:angryfire:

I'm guess I'm lucky my car is solid, but it would be nice to know I have options down the road if needed. This is JMO,but I would think that the 1970's would be more collectable in the future being a one year car?

It was a 1 year only body style. Grills will be hard to find, well not really hard to find but hard to find at a decent price. I was hoping AMD would start making the rear tail panels also, but they probably never will.

It is a shame that they will not recognize the need for these "one year only bodies" parts and start making them. You're right on parts, hard or impossible to find or pay insane $$$$. I always ask people at swap meets/shows/festivals but usually come up empty. I have 2 70's and dread the day something should happen or when I need something. What's the specs on your Bee?
