70 bumper question

Im thinking of taking my bumpers to tri city. I talked to them at the autofair (charlotte) over the week end. I think he said 375 each. He also said he could buy my spare core for 45. Now the question is, has anyone had a front bumper welded up. Meaning the holes for the rubber piece on the 70 front bumper. Its just an idea ive had to make a smooth bumper. Problem is ive never seen it done and dont want to spend extra $$ to do this and it look like ****. Anyone seen this or even better have pics?

I think you may be on to something.I like the idea,never seen it,but if you look at your rear bumper that may be what the front looks like.

Guess i phrased that wrong. Definately going to tri city. Their about an hour and half away. Never heard any complaints about them. I dont recall seeing this done before but hoped maybe someone had. If not i may be the guinny pig.

I found a couple without the brows,still see the holes but maybe you can get the idea of how it will look.

Welding up the holes shouldn't be a problem for someone that knows what they are doing....

Yeah thats what im thinking. The pics of the one without the brows looks good to me. I think i will...
besides i'll still have one core if i dont like it
