I’ll preface this by stating I know the car was in an accident at some point hence the blue driver front fender. I have measured the frame rails and they seem to be square and within the 1/8” tolerances. The bumper appears to be bent a bit in places. The grill was seemingly cracked from the collision. I’m not sure if the bumper was reused or not.

I do notice it sits high on the driver side and almost inward a touch. Being that the frame members seems square, is this more likely just needing adjustment (which the front fenders seem to need) or a tweaked bumper or bent support?

I know these are one year only, so I’m not sure how many people have dealt with this.

Are the AMD reproductions bumpers any good? I have thought about doing a new bumper and classic industries grill as well. I know people put a lot of work into restoring the original plastic, so there must be something to that still.

Even though you measured. I would still put the car up on a frame machine to verify and correct if needed before you start trying to fit new parts at it. Used bumper are for sale occasionally reasonably priced sometimes. It's the re-chroming that is a killer price wise. I have used AMD bumpers on other cars with good results and happy with the fit and finish.

similar to 70 coronet bumper I am sure.......loosen all the bolts holding the bumper assembly together and see if you can shove it into place

After looking at it a bit, I’m pretty sure it’s tweaked from the wreck and they reused it. I’d have to get it off the car to know for sure.
