Since i already had contact to a few members in here i think it´s time to introduce myself.
My name is Joerg. I´m 30 and live in a small town named Baernbach located in AUstria, central Europe.
I worked in the US 2005/06 and 2008/2009. When i left the US in 2006 i decided to take a piece of american
muscle back home to Austria with me.
I stumbled across a sales add by misstyping "Challenger" instead of "Charger". 68 mails later i
agreed in a good price for it flew from SC to CA and bought the Charger from a nice mid aged lady
named Barbara Petersen.
These are the pictures from the original sales add:

After i handed over the cheque her nephew and i drove the car to a freight company in Los Angeles.
The car was put on a trailer and Jerich International brought the car over to SC. There i registered the car
on my name and drove it for a good 4 month before i brought it to Charleston SC. The car went into
a container and started it´s journey towards Austria.
It arrived by start of October and i was able to drive it for another two month with the american tags before
it broke down right in front of my friends newly opened mopar restoration shop (www.mopargarage.at) on 24th of November.
Over the next 4 years the car was restored to my needs but mostly tried to keep it as close to original as possible.
We worked on my car whenever there was time and money available.
Here are a few pictures taken during the resto:

In June 2010 the restoration was far enough to get the car licensed for street use in Austria. Not everything was finished but what kind of resto is that anyways.

Here are actual pictures of the Car and a few video links as well:

1970 Cars

The car looks great..I hated that hood it came with when you first bought it..1970 had so many great cars that year for Dodge and Plymouth Challenger, Charger, Cuda, GTX, Roadrunner....Enjoy the Charger ...70RR

Thanks for the welcome.
The color was not the one i´ve choosen. The car actually is a sublime 1970 R/T SE. It came with A/C and a nice 440 4bbl and 727 and 3.23 rears. It still has all the factory stamps all over, the dash VIN, the fendertag and i also found the original door sticker under the black paint. I even found two broadcast sheets in the car. One behind the rear seats and one below the carpet laying on the transmission tunnel.

The motor now has 500cui and a nice Six-Pack on it and i´m waiting for my newly purchased EDL-STR14-6 intake to arrive.
