70 Charger engine wiring harness

Have a 69 Charger 440 that needs a engine wiring harness. I want to upgrade the charging system to Electronic volage regular. Can I purchase a 70 charger wiring harness to put in place of the 69 harness? And does everything match at the plug on the fire wall? I think I know but need conformation. Thank Ron

You’d have to look at the FSM wiring diagrams to see if everything is the same on the plug side at the firewall. You can download them for free at mymopar.com

As for the engine bay side. The horn relay wiring is completely different from 69 to 70. It could probably all be made to work but would take some work.

Probably easier to stick with a 69 style harness and just upgrade to the later style charging system.
