Apologize for length of post.

Not working:
• all side markers
• all tail/parking
• dash
• stop

Working:
• headlights low and high-floor switch ok
• front and rear signals
• dome -only by door switch (not with door closed through dimmer roller)
• backup (I believe) and dash backup indicator
• dash brake system indicator

Did:
Continuity’s good on all fuses, reviewed electrical diagram to isolate circuits for not working items (but newbie experience) not 100% certain using thoroughly/correctly, with ignition on used a test light on female connectors for dimmer roller and light switches. Only dome circuit worked on dimmer roller connector, only (“L1” ?) lit for light switch connector. I don’t see “L1” on diagram. Is it lighting feed? Cleaned all contacts for fuse box and both switches.

The car was restored ~10 yrs ago but appears was in damp environment and shows moderate/high corrosion on connection points.

I found (so far) 3 wires that have been cut and wires twisted together without a connector used, believe it or not. Unsure if relevant.
• black/yellow stripe - right front marker and parking (why blinkers work?)
• black/white stripe under dash - on diagram is listed as “optional” which theorize is hazard which I don’t think the car has.
• I used a simple barrel connector on all 3 temporarily to at least know they are good connects.
• 2 other individual wires under dash connectors with spade connector. Heavier guage (12 or 14?) red, and 18 guage red.

Bottom line is I’ve gone about as far as what my very limited experience enables.

Any detailed thoughts on next steps tracking down the point of failure? A lot of info. Hoping it helps better isolate where the issue starts. THANKS!

1. Stop lights - check for 12v on pink wire at brake switch. It should always be 12v & power comes from the fuse block
2. Side markers - check bulbs first, then touch a ground wire to the socket if the bulbs. An extra ground wire fixed mine
3. Tail/parking - check green & brown wires for 12v with headlights (or at least running lights) turned on. Check at connector behind driver’s kick panel

Thanks. Will do. Given the description would your gut suggest multiple causes are likely?

Test all the fuses with a volt meter or test light. DO NOT SAY THEY LOOKED OK.

Yes, multiple things wrong
1. Stop light are tied in with emergency flasher & a fuse in the fuse block.
2. Side markers - bulbs or grounds
3. Dome is probably the dimmer wheel switch…try wiggling it to another position. Mine has a dead spot or two
4. Tail lights - I’m not sure
