70 horn location

My horns on my 70 GTX are located on the passenger side just inside of the radiator support but my new wiring harness does not reach so let me know if they are in the right spot! Thanks guys!

That is about where mine are but I have two regular horns since mine is a GTX. Anyone with a GTX have any pics of your horns?

the last photo of the B5 blue is a GTX ,don't no why he added a RR horn ,but the other one it looks like he painted it blue ,I'm still lookingarts book:

How did you run your harness? It should run across the intake to the alt. then over to where you horn is bolted! BTW yours is a dual horn setup! Pictured is a RR beep beep horn!

steve I posted some photos up for him some where RR's and a few where gtx not sure why some had added the RR horns to theres

So does the horn wiring come through the engine harness? That might explain why the wire I thought was the horn wire was not long enough! The guy that was working on restoring this car really butchered up the wiring so I am putting new harnesses on one at a time. I have the dash and the forward light harness on but may have to buy the engine harness yet anyway! thanks for the help guys!

Yes the horn wiring is in the engine harness! If I remember correctly it should be a dark green wire? It will have two female connectors for the horns!

That makes sense now. Ok, answer this then. I have 2 wires that come up with the light harness that are in front of the radiator support and are long enough to make it almost to the passenger side but not quite. Any idea what those are for?

Mine comes out of the harness at the alternator green with w/ red tracer and has 2 connectors for the horns the other wire is brown and is for the washer motor.
