I just bought a 70 Satellite Convertible (this will be my 3rd one), so I am putting my RR up for sale (only have one garage). I am posting it on FBBO first to give any members a first crack.
Rotisserie restored about 10 years ago by the guy I bought it from in Pa. It has the matching number 383, original FC7 In-violet , white top and white interior. I have the fender tag and build sheet. During the restoration, the following was added to the car, which is all correct for the 70 RR, but it did not come that way from the factory; bucket seats (originally bench seat), air grabber hood, go wing. Since the transmission was not matching numbers and other mods were done, I decided to convert the car to a 4 speed 2 years ago (I have posted many times about my conversion). I had Jamie Passon do the actual conversion/installation so it is done right. He installed a rebuilt ,date correct 833 4 speed, correct bellhousing, McCleod diaphram clutch, hurst pistol grip shifter, correct 4 speed pedals, torque rod, and buddy seat. I replaced the carpeting with an ACC carpet with the heavy mass backing for sound deadening. Only issue I have is tach is jumping around (haven't checked out why), shifts great though!!! Also, Jamie installed a Steer and Gear Stage 2 steering box.
The car is turn key and really needs nothing to enjoy, just get in and drive !!! I'm asking $38k or Best Offer. You can't build this car for that. Car is located in Northern New Jersey near NYC. Happy to answer any questions.
