I am putting body color police wheels on my 70 Roadrunner and I would like the rear to wider than the front. What sizes front and rear tires have worked for you? I will just do some short trips to car cruises and shows and will not be racing. Thanks in advance!

I have 15x8 Ramcharger wheels w/4-1/2" b.s. with 275/60/15 wheels with drag radials on my Roached Runner. Yes, it uses every bit of the drag radials the car is much more than it looks.

15x8 with 4.5" backspacing is about perfect for the rears.

Agreed. I've got 15x8 "steelies" that I got from Jegs or Summit or (?). The factory dog dish hub caps fit and they're just about perfect. I want to say I've got 265/60/15's and I've rolled my outer fender lips on a 70 Road Runner. Just by eyeball, 8" wide and maybe 1/2"-1" more offset inwards would be perfect.
