Hey guys maybe a stupid question but I don’t know so. I have a 70 super bee with a bench seat and a 4 speed which way dose the boot go? Looking at it from the side the rubber above the ring is shaped like a wedge. Dose the tall side of the wedge face forward or to the back? Thanks.

Looking at it the square shifter hole boot on my 68 non console cars tips towards the back a bit. That way it kind of follows the shifter profile as the shifter tilts towards the seat a tad. If that doesn't show any difference, then put the trim ring by itself on the screw holes in the floor and see what way matches up. Then match your trim ring to the boot and you should be good to go.

Thanks 91r/t makes perfect sense.
Much appreciated

No problem man anytime! Happy new year!
