I notice some have a tach in the right hand side big pod and others have a oil gauge and something else. can a cluster with the oil gauge in the right hand big pod be changed to a tach??

Is there a difference between 71/2 and 73/4 ?? I have seen some ads say they are different and some say they are the same.. ????

Do they all take the radio with the knobs all on one side??

And finally, can someone take say a 73 charger with the standard cluster and bolt in a rally cluster or is the dash frame totally different like the earlier cars??

Ok for ? 1 if it has the oil gauge in the big pod it can't be converted to a tach.
? 2 yes there's a difference the late 73 and all of 74 have a picture of a head light and washer next to the knobs the early ones do not have this but all are interchangeable.
And 3 yes you can remove the swep gauge and replace with a rallye cluster you will need the correct wireing harness .

Back to ? 1 if you can get a setup with a clock in it you can remove the clock and install a tack in that setup with no modification. I may have an extra setup if my car doesn't sell ,I will part out and don't need a lot of the parts

Hope this was helpful any more ?'s feel free to p.m. me

You can also extend the wires from a non-rallye harness to work with a rallye cluster.

There are a couple of threads here with extensive analysis of this topic.
