I took my original 71 gtx finned rocker trim to a shop for restoration and they say they needed polished out. aparently the light dark color it had on it was from 40 plus years of oxidation.will just polishing these parts out give them the factory look or do they have a color to them ? Im trying to get the original look. thanks Glenn
