Another new guy. I've been a MoPar guy most of my life, but did stray a bit from time to time. I've had MoPars from the '30s, '40s '50s '60s, & now I have one from the '70s. My brother bought it new. It's always been a Tenn. car. He decided he no longer wanted it, & gave it to me. It's an 89,000 mile '71 GTX, 440 4bbl automatic car. I just got it hauled up to Wisc. today, so I can't tell you much more about it. About myself, I'm 71 yrs. old going to my shop every day to build custom cars, so the resto will be a stretch for me. I do have the advantage of knowing John Grinwald for tech advice during this process. Actually the car will be on the back burner until I get my '37 Ply. coupe hot rod done. It's got a '55 Dodge hemi, 727, 8-3/4" posi, & will be a resto rod. Today I worked on making the bed for a '36 Dodge P/U drag truck for a friend. It's got a 383, 727, 9". He hopes to run in the 10s. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. Larry

welcome to FBBO
you sound like a true gearhead, like many of us on here

good luck with the 71 GTX, love that body style almost as much as the 68's

Welcome....x2 on the pics.

Welcome, Larry! Looking forward to seeing pics of your GTX.

Thanks for the welcome. Like I said, I'm not messing with the GTX right now. I do have a couple pics my brother took as the car was being loaded in Tenn. I don't see how to load pics. Maybe someone can give me some instructions?
