71 Roadrunner/GTX front bumper brace?

Interesting, is there one for the passenger side? If not, could it be a support for battery tray.

There is one on each side and they make it a little harder to install the bumper.

my 71 road runner has them. the car was built early August 1970 at the L.A. plant

Can you get a shot of where the top bolt of the bracket goes in?

My car is in the body shop so it will be awhile to get any pics.

My 73 has something similar to that and it has a tie down hole.

If that wasn't there, it would be a LOT easier to remove/install the bumper.
