Hello, ive found a local 71 dodge coronet wagon, seems to be complete but has been sitting a while and has been sunbaked by the Texas sun. One off puting thing is spare parts, especially for wagons. This car has good glass all around but the rubber seals have dry rotten and you never know if you might break one of the glass windows. I always like to at least know spare parts are available in the event I need them. My question is does anybody make glass and window seals, specifically the wagon portion for 71-74 b body wagons, if not what are your options in the event you need new window seals or glass? Specifically what can you do if you need anything for a wagon (this wagon has a broken taillight lense for example and I cant find a replacement anywhere) of this era as reproduction parts don't always exist, and nos can be near impossible to find.

Wagons are becoming more & more popular, and there is not much at all aftermarket parts support for anything wagon specific that I am aware of. For the glass, as long as it's a flat piece, you could probably get one made. For the seals, you might be able to find something on a roll OR cut up two similarly sized/shaped seals & glue the edges together? Sorry, I'm not more help on this one. I "think" some of the 4-door cars' doors are the same & I believe anything related to the tailgate is a real PIA to find.

Hey Pushrod..... please tell our Mopar wagon buddy more. I've never owned one, so I don't really know.

steele rubber makes 4 door/wagon specific gaskets for 66/67

Not sure A- if 71 and up is different, or B- if they are, whether steele makes them

might want to check with them

The only Mopar station wagons that has the large quarter side glass seals available are the 63 to 65 B-Bodies. No other quarter glass seals for other year models are available in a reproduction. You will be either looking for a generic style for glass setting or hunting down a NOS piece. Window felts and door seals are available for the different years. The front doors are the same as a typical four door application through the different years and body styles. The back doors of a wagon are different from that of a four door sedan, so you will need door seals and window felts for that application. Nothing at this time is available for the rear tailgate on the 71 wagon. We have done a few of the pieces for the 63 to 65, 66 to 67 and 68 to 70 B-Body tailgate seals, but there is still little available and we hope to have a couple more pieces in time for Carlisle.
