We had a '65 Newport (383) and a '74 Dart (198) that both had issues on rainy days..... I remember as a child both my parents bitching about those cars giving them issues.

I had a 77 Power Wagon with a 360 in it and after so many problems with water in the cap when it rained hard I made a shield to have it run off when it came in between the cowl and hood. It was fine after that...
