72 Roadrunner Rear Valance Shape

My 72 rear valance was so beat up, I don't actually know what it should look like. I know the edge of the 72 is fitted to the bumper, but is the panel flat like the 71 valance or contoured on the ends to flow into the taillights? (mine seems to be contoured but it is really beat up)

Thanks for the picture. Could you take one looking across the panel? Is the whole panel flat?
