727 auto identification help

Please excuse my ignorance on automatic transmission stampings. A friend has this 727 and he was wondering what it came out of. Do all these numbers mean anything? Looks like some kind of intergalactic space code to me. Thanks

They should be. One of the date code guru's should be able to answer that.

I'm know guru anyhow........ pretty sure its a 10,000 calender day in the White book, and it will tell you the day and week the Trans was was built. I could tell you if I had my book with me. Maybe another member can tell you more

Numbers look like it's a 66 hemi trans...but date looks like 8/6/69
