Hi all,

I've been looking at a few different kick down cables for my 727. lokar and a few othesr make some nice pieces. Well I have a few heater cables and other things to make one work. So this is what I've come up with. After installation my trans shifts harder and doesn't shift through the gears so quick ( I didn't have any type of kick down before so something is better than nothing) when I stomp on it, it down shifts, and shifts back to 3rd around 4k rpm.

I am wondering how everyone else's acts???

It sounds like you have adjusted it right. As long as you have the lever on the trans pulled tight when you are at WOT, then you probably have it correct.

I use the cables that were used on the trucks or jeeps in the 90's. Readily available in any junkyard for cheap. I think I spent 11 bucks last time I got one.

oh didn't think of that, thanks!
