73-4 RR trunk graphics/emblems

I've seen 'em done both ways on 73-4's - which of these is correct ?

I believe that neither is correct. The first car has the bird & circle decal that goes on the front valance on the trunk. The second car has the bird without the circle, which is the correct decal for the trunk, but then has the road runner wording from earlier models which is not correct.

It should be just the bird without the circle, but it is pretty boring.

On my 74 i had, if i remember, it had the same thing that is on the black one,cause i used to catch the wash mitt on the RR emblem all the time.

My 73 is original and is the same as the black one

Standing bird with roadrunner underneath is correct for the trunk and shown in all literature.

Mine was a 73 and it was original to the car (i.e. original paint and decal from the factory).

My 74 has the standing bird (not in the circle) and roadrunner underneat it, just like the black RR, the emblem on the back of the green RR,is what in on my header panel, my vehicle is orginal from factory, I also have a gtx emblem on the left on deck lid.

I guess that settles it (should have looked at the brochure myself as I have one put away) These must be the stick-ons vs the pins as my RR hasn't any holes for pins.

I went with my Pittsbird decal and a set of 69-70 lettering with the pegs.

Pittts"bird" ? I won't even ask about the "360" decal on the driver's side ........ are you going with the same "theme" after repaint of current car or staying original ?

The whole point of the engine callout on the rear is so people won't ask. I get so tired of people asking "what engine 'ya got in there?"... so they can just find out for themselves.
