but all Charger SE / ralley, 500, RT, Bee hoods from 71 to 74 wheather they be flat, vented/non-vented bulge, air doored or with the cut out are interchangeable.
Damn, Guy living by me is getting rid of his 73 roadrunner Hood with the bulge that is vented in front for $150 thought it would be cool to try out can't find any power bulge charger hoods unless u want to pay 800 plus freight
It will bolt on, and open and close...but the Plymouth has a header panel between the hood and grille, where the Dodge does not.
There will be front edge body line issues as well.
IDK why RR hods are relatively easy to find and fairly cheap ($150-$500), but any year Charger bulge hood is a nightmare to find and wallet shock to purchase ($800 and up).
Both hoods are likely to have rust issues- the Plymouth in the lip area, and the Dodge in the bracing area as well as the lip, although in general the Plymouths seem to fare better.
Perhaps the high visibility factor of the RR made them more likely to sell versus the changing terminology for the Charger performance package.
I've not compared sales figure between 73-74 RR and 71-74 Charger R/T, Bee, and Rallye, or even just 72-74 Rallye.
