After reading some of the post about rust issues I am feeling better about my project. The only real rust issues I have is where someone did a bad job putting on new 1/4 panels. Other than that just a little surface rust. floors, cowl & trunk are all solid. The pic shows where the bad spot is just under the 1/4 window & is the same on both sides. I removed the vinyl top and found all metal to be in good shape. So i am feeling very lucky.

73 Charger
318 / 904
working A/C
bucket seats with console
remote trunk
roll down 1/4 windows
bumper extensions removed
go wing & chin spoiler
headers & side exit dual exhaust
power bulge hood
front & rear sway bar

This is just a short list of goodies the car has. I do have a big block & trans but sounds like too much money just to trow a 4,000 pound tank into high 12's

These cars rusted quickly. I had one new. Must have replaced the rear shackles that went through the trunk floor 5 times.
When I looked for one recently I was lucky to find a California car. Rust free.
Best of luch with your resto.

Mine is a lot worse,I am waiting to get another welder. Then I can repair mine.

My Dad Bought a 73 Cuda new and by 83 the rockers, quarters, floors & trunk were all in bad shape with rust holes. I recently found that my car is from cali. also.
