'73 Rear Sway Bar Bushings

Can't seem to find a kit for these listed anywhere. Where can I get replacements for the original rear sway bar bushings? Car is a '73 road runner. I would like to keep the factory set up and not change links. Would be willing to replace with polyurethane, but can't seem to find those listed either. I am hoping the FBBO experts to point me in the right direction.

Also, if anyone has an extra plate that the links mount to (driver side), I need one. This is the plate that sits over the leaf spring. My driver side is no longer usable.

I just realized that you are close to one of the biggest Mopar salvage yards there is. That would be Stephan's Performance in Anderson Alabama. If no one has that plate I am sure that they must have one. I don't know how expensive they are but check out their website. Good luck with your quest!

Thanks for the suggestion multimopes. I know Mr. Stephens. Let's just say I am not a fan, and leave it at that. I would much rather do bid-nezz with someone here on FBBO if someone happens to have the part.

There is not a service number for them. Need to find the closest as posible, cut the welds, open and reweld or use bolt and nut.

You could use same pieces used in front, can recall the bar thickness difference though! Small blocks and big blocks got a diff bar thickness in front.

Rods to plates uses the same front pieces

Frame brackets, maybe same earlier fronts bushings too, U shaped.

Thanks idrivemopar, good to have Firm Feel as an option. However, would prefer to keep it stock if possible.

Nacho-RT74 is confirming what I was afraid of......no kit available. I was hoping someone was making it.

Still need a driver side plate if anyone is willing to part with one, please message me. What's left of the one on my car looks to have been subjected to a ticked-off, evil witch doctor in possession of a sawzall and a blow torch.

When I got mine a few years ago, it was the end links and bushings, and 4 D clamps with bushings for the bar. So I would call that complete.

I am pretty sure there is another application for those bushings, might take me a few years to go back through all of my issues of MA to find the pn though.

Yes definitelly someone already existant must match. I know somebody on 3rd gen charger board simply replaced a broken rod on his rear sway bar with front sway bar rods and bushings.

I checked my Challenger "bible". I bought a new pair for a 3/4 inch rear bar from Super Tuff Performance in Danville, Kentucky in 2002.

I bought this linkage set for my car and I like them a lot even though they are pricey. I could not find anyone else that made them either for our set ups. It says front but I am extremely confident it is for the back.

I also have a set of 73-74 rear sway bar mounts (with isolation center) that I did not end up needing since I was able to repair my 72 mount. I paid $70 shipped for both of them so I will sell them for the exact same amount. I do not have any pictures of those on my phone but can get you some tonight when I get home.

That's the 73 and lates front sway bar setup links to K frame. Somebody on the 3rd gen Charger board already used them with success as I mentioned

Thank for all the ideas, I am ordering a set of front sway bar bushings to use on the links. The search is still on for the bushings that go into the frame rail mountings. And a big "THANKS!" to plymouthman72 for parting with his set of sway bar plates!
